ILTA 2026 Conference Program Schedule Now Available
Explore sessions spanning Advocacy, AI, Community Relations, Environment, Health & Safety, Human Resources, Leadership, Operations & Engineering, and Security—plus new for ILTA 2026: Terminal Table Talks. The ILTA 2026 Conference & Trade Show takes place June 15–17 in Houston at the Marriott Marquis Houston and George R. Brown Convention Center. Register now to take advantage of the Advance Rate of $1,300 through February 28. Rates increase March 1.

Nominations Now Open: ILTA 2026 Leadership Awards

Nominations are now open for the ILTA 2026 Leadership Awards, recognizing exceptional leadership and service across the liquid terminal industry. Honorees will be recognized at the ILTA 2026 Conference & Trade Show, June 15–17, in Houston.

 

ILTA is accepting nominations in two categories:
• Outstanding Young Professional Award, recognizing an emerging leader early in their career
• Distinguished Service Award, honoring an individual with a long-standing record of leadership and industry impact

 

In 2025, ILTA recognized Marissa Karl of Buckeye Partners, L.P. with the Outstanding Young Professional Award and Harold Laurence of Trinity Consultants with the Distinguished Service Award—highlighting excellence at every career stage.

 

Nominations for either award take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

VTTI Invests in Rail Infrastructure at Amsterdam Terminal (ETA) to Expand Logistics Capabilities

VTTI has confirmed the Final Investment Decision (FID) for a new rail infrastructure investment at its Amsterdam terminal, marking an important step in expanding logistics capabilities and supporting developments in energy and transport markets. Today, products at VTTI Amsterdam (ETA) are transported via barge, vessel, and truck. The addition of rail will provide increased flexibility and efficiency in the logistics flow of customers handling gasoil and renewable diesel (HVO), further strengthening the terminal’s multimodal connectivity.

LBC Tank Terminals, Associated British Ports and North Sea Port Partner to Advance Carbon Shipping

LBC Tank Terminals (LBC), Associated British Ports (ABP) and North Sea Port have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) terminal and shipping corridor connecting Northwest Europe with the UK. This will enable captured CO2 from industrial regions to be transported to secure storage, representing a vital step toward decarbonizing energy generation and heavy industry while creating a new cross-border market for CO2.
