The team at Cape Canaveral, operated by VTTI, has achieved a significant safety milestone, reaching 2,500 consecutive days without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
This achievement highlights the high standards upheld by employees and the importance of daily decision-making across the terminal. It reflects a consistent commitment to working carefully, adhering to procedures, speaking up when something feels unsafe, and proactively addressing concerns before they escalate into incidents.
LBC Lillo has successfully obtained the ISO 45001 certification, marking an important milestone for the organization. This achievement represents the first time an LBC terminal has been awarded this internationally recognized standard for occupational health and safety management systems.
ISO 45001 is the global benchmark for ensuring safe and healthy workplaces. It provides a structured framework for identifying hazards, reducing operational risks, and preventing work‑related injuries and illnesses. By adopting this standard, organizations commit to proactive safety management, strong leadership involvement, and continuous improvement in working conditions.
