Thank You, ILTA 2026. Hello, ILTA 2027.

ILTA 2027 returns to Houston, Texas, June 7–9, at the Marriott Marquis Houston and George R. Brown Convention Center.

Nearly 5,000 industry professionals came together at ILTA 2026 to learn, collaborate, and strengthen the relationships that move the liquid terminal industry forward. Together, we celebrated our largest Conference & Trade Show to date, filled with an energy that carried through every education session, networking event, and aisle of the Trade Show floor.

ILTA 2026 wasn't just bigger—it introduced new experiences that attendees embraced from day one. Terminal Table Talks quickly became a Conference favorite, bringing hundreds of attendees together for candid, peer-to-peer roundtable discussions about the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of our industry. The Learning Lab created a dynamic new platform for exhibitors and industry experts to showcase products, services, and innovations, while the Women in Terminals Networking Reception transformed the Trade Show floor into a vibrant gathering place with live music and exuberant conversation.

Conference attendees took advantage of 21 CEU-bearing education sessions, explored solutions from hundreds of exhibitors, and formed meaningful relationships that simply wouldn't have happened otherwise—connections that will continue through the ILTA Central app, new business opportunities, and friendships built around shared experiences.

Now, our attention turns to 2027.

We're already reviewing survey feedback, reliving memorable moments, and evaluating new ideas to make next year's Conference & Trade Show even stronger. Every conversation helps us refine the experience, and we're committed to building on this year's momentum with fresh, immersive experiences and even more ways to serendipitously connect with one another.

THIS is only the beginning.

Meet ILTA’s New Director of Industry Affairs and Education 

ILTA is pleased to welcome Harold "Hal" Laurence, P.E., as our new Director of Industry Affairs and Education.

Hal brings decades of experience in terminal operations, environmental compliance, and technical training, along with a deep understanding of the regulatory and operational challenges facing our members. In his new role, he'll support ILTA's advocacy efforts, help expand educational programming, and provide technical expertise that strengthens the resources and value we deliver to the terminal community.

We're excited to have Hal on the team and look forward to the experience, perspective, and practical insights he'll bring to ILTA and our members.

Energy Transfer Announces Nederland NGL Export Terminal Expansion

Energy Transfer LP announced an expansion of the Nederland NGL Export Terminal to meet additional customer demand.

The project will increase ethane export capacity at Nederland by 240,000 barrels per day (bpd), along with 55,000 bpd of additional LPG capacity. One hundred percent of the ethane export capacity has been committed in long-term agreements running into the 2040’s.

LBC Tank Terminals Announces Rainbow 5 Phase A Expansion at Rotterdam Terminal

LBC Tank Terminals has taken the final investment decision to execute Project Rainbow 5 Phase A at its Rotterdam Terminal, advancing the next phase of the terminal’s multi-year expansion program. The project will add approximately 41,000 cubic meters of storage capacity, increasing the terminal’s total capacity to approximately 295,000 cubic meters and further strengthening its position as a key hub for chemical and energy transition flows.
