Sweeping changes to air emission standards for gasoline terminals are scheduled to take effect in 2027. To help industry professionals prepare, ILTA is introducing a new Gasoline Distribution Air Emissions Rules Course on Monday, December 7, at the Marriott Marquis Houston.
Led by Harold Laurence, this one-day course will cover key regulatory changes, compliance considerations, practical strategies, and the equipment and resources facilities may need to prepare. ILTA will also provide an update on its advocacy efforts and ongoing EPA reconsideration efforts.
Participants can earn 0.8 CEUs. Registration includes breakfast, lunch, and access to the Monday evening networking reception.

The TOPS program focuses on health and safety topics, with terminal operators discussing firsthand experiences involving operating challenges, incidents, and the practices their teams have used to strengthen safety, preparedness, and performance.

The award was presented at the National Safety Council (NSC) Safety Congress & Expo in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Global automation technology company Emerson is planning to establish a new Middle East and Africa Service Center at the Umm Alhoul Free Zone in Qatar.
The new automation solutions service and operations centre will expand Emerson’s local capabilities for customers in Qatar and across the wider Middle East and Africa region. The 3,500-square-metre facility will include the region’s first certified in-country flow calibration laboratory, alongside a range of automation technologies and services.
Enbridge said it will acquire Blackstone-owned Tallgrass Energy's crude oil business for $2.55 billion in cash, expanding its U.S. liquids pipeline network by buying a majority stake in the Pony Express Pipeline and other assets.
The Canadian pipeline operator said the deal would strengthen its presence in key U.S. crude-producing regions, including the Bakken, Powder River and Denver-Julesburg basins, while creating operational synergies with its existing Express-Platte pipeline system.
